Introduction to Yotpo & Justuno

Yotpo’s single-platform approach leverages connected data and experiences through a unified platform with solutions for Reviews and Visual UGC, Loyalty & Referrals, SMS and Email and Subscriptions to maximize customer retention. This article will cover the integration related to Yotpo's email and sms product. Once connected, users can automatically pass any new contacts and associated data collected by Justuno to a specified list within Yotpo.

If you have any questions about this integration, contact our support team via ticket or your Justuno Strategist via email for further direction or full set up.

Requirements & Functionality

Any custom properties can be created in Justuno and then the field will carry over to Yotpo. This can then be used to segment your customers in your Yotpo flows.

You'll find your Justuno created properties under the property dropdown when you are viewing a segment. You can read more about the custom profile properties here

Syncing your workflows to Yotpo

1. Login to your Justuno account and go to Connect your Apps from the home screen or go to Account Settings from your profile on the top right corner. In Available Apps search for Yotpo and click on it.

As soon as you click on Yotpo you'll be prompted to login to your Yotpo account in another tab. If the tab doesn't automatically open then click on the link in the authentication box.

After you login you'll a confirmation login screen and you'll want to manually close that screen. Now your Justuno account will be synced to your Yotpo email and sms account. You'll see that it has connected on the right side of the screen now.

Yotpo is now ready to be incorporated into workflows! You can start by using a workflow template or create your own workflow (to know more about workflows click here.)

If you have any questions about this integration, contact our support team via ticket or our a live chat.

Now to the workflow. In the design step of the workflow, select the Sync to App option. In the side menu, find the Yotpo app and click on Add.

Once you add the app, you can

  • Choose which of your existing Yotpo lists you want to sync to this workflow.
  • See select properties which will automatically sync to Yotpo.
  • Custom sync properties from your Justuno design to the properties in your Yotpo app. (example: social handles, birthday, shopping preferences, survey/quiz responses, etc.). These properties are considered 0 party data or 1st party data. Learn more about visitor data collection and how to use this data in campaigns

Note: Yotpo will accept what is passed as a custom properties (dynamic). So you can name and pass any value for fields. You can read more about where these show up in Yotpo here.

Once your workflow is created it can be saved, previewed or published from the top, right corner of the workflow builder.

General Notes

  • Integration with Yotpo is a one way sync. This means that website visitor information is only transacted to Yotpo from Justuno. Justuno does not pull any visitor profile information from Yotpo.
  • In general, Justuno users will be able to select lists that will collect email and sms subscribers. You are able to collect custom properties for each subscriber as well.
  • Users will also be able to connect and disconnect the application from Yotpo's side. Connecting from Yopto will simply redirect the user to Justuno's app marketplace to connect.
  • Access all of Yopto's workflow and design templates here.
