Introduction to Optimizely Data Platform & Justuno

This integration enables you to push profile data collected in Justuno to Optimizely Data Platform (ODP). ODP allows you to unify, segment, and activate your customer data in real-time. Get the most out of your valuable data with Optimizely Data Platform, built for laser-focused segmentation, that integrates seamlessly with Optimizely products. Collect, store, and enrich customer data from multiple sources, create and reuse segments based on behavior, preferences, and attributes, and activate those segments in real-time across channels.

Requirements & Connecting

In order to connect Justuno to your Optimizely Data Platform Account, you'll need your Optimizely Data Platform Private API Key. Navigate to Account Settings > APIs > Private tab. Here you will find the Private API Key. Here is Optimizely Data Platform documentation on locating the API Key.

Once you've obtained your Private API Key, you can navigate to Justuno's App Marketplace and connect the integration from there by searching "Zaius". Click on the app tile and input your Private API Key.

You will find the app for Optimizely Data Platform under the name Zaius, which is it's former business name.

Syncing your workflows to Optimizely Data Platform

When configuring your Justuno Workflow to ODP, you'll be able to select ODP lists to associate to your collected profiles. Additionally, you'll be able to push Justuno profile properties as Zaius custom properties.

Once you add the app, you can

  • Justuno automatically syncs these fields to ODP.
    • Email, FirstName, LastName, Phone, Street1, Street2, City, State, Zip, Country, Gender

Once your workflow is created it can be saved, previewed or published from the top, right corner of the workflow builder.

General Notes

  • Integration with ODP is a one way sync. This means that website visitor information is only transacted to ODP from Justuno. Justuno does not pull any visitor profile information from ODP. The exception is if you are using tags that feed into Shopify. Justuno does pull in Shopify tags that can be used to create you segments or condition sets.
