Introduction
Dynamic Click Actions is a click action that specifically targets users in an existing segment or possess an existing property.
They are not meant to be used to update or submit new properties.
Think of it like a click action with its own set of targeting conditions (e.g. Link to Next Frame if visitor is not a Return Visitor and Email Address is not known.)
Accessing Dynamic Click Actions
Within the Button Element settings, selecting a Link to URL, Link to Frame or Copy to Clipboard click action will reveal an additional checkbox to convert to a Dynamic Click Action.
Once activated, a new option panel will appear with a search input labeled Execute this action if...
This is where you can search from your library of existing audience segments and profile properties.
You can even stack multiple conditions by clicking the +And button beneath the search bar.
If you take a look at the example above, this demonstrates the dynamic click action inputs needed to target someone who is not a Return Visitor and Email Address is not known.
