AI Smart Timing & Re-engaging feature
Powered by AI — automatic popup timing for every visitor, page, and moment.
AI Smart Timing removes the guesswork from when your lead capture appears. Instead of hard-coding a fixed delay (5 seconds? 7? on the second page load?), the system continuously learns how long visitors engage with each page on your site before they move on or leave — and fires your popup at the highest-converting second for that specific visitor, on that specific page.
You no longer set timing by hand. Smart Timing already knows.
What it does
Traditional timing forces you to pick one rule and apply it everywhere — a five-second delay, or a trigger on the second page view, or a condition based on landing URL, traffic channel, or new-vs-returning status. Every one of those is a manual guess, and no single rule is right for every page.
Smart Timing evaluates all of those signals continuously, for every page on your site. It watches how long visitors spend on a page before they bounce or click deeper, and uses that to time the popup for maximum intent.

Turning it on
On any lead capture, open the Design step and enable the AI Smart Timing toggle (top-right of the green "Powered by AI" block). Two controls appear:
- Aggressiveness — how eagerly the AI fires.
- Re-engage later in the visit — an optional second attempt.
Aggressiveness
The Aggressiveness setting shifts how early Smart Timing tends to fire. Choose from Low, Medium, or High.

Previewing average trigger times
Click Preview AI's avg trigger times to see how your current setting plays out across your five most-visited pages. The chart shows page hits (last 7 days) as bars, with the AI's average time-to-impression overlaid as a line — so you can see, per page, roughly when the popup would appear.

For example, at a lower aggressiveness the popup might average just under 8 seconds on the homepage and around 9 seconds on the next page. Switch to High and those numbers drop — closer to 6 seconds on the homepage, and proportionally sooner elsewhere. Use the preview to sanity-check that the timing feels right for your pages before publishing.
Re-engage later in the visit
Turn on Re-engage later in the visit to give the popup a second chance with visitors who dismissed it the first time without converting.
If someone closes the popup without entering their email or SMS, Smart Timing watches for a later moment of higher intent — they've stuck around for four or five more pages, added something to cart, spent meaningful time on a page, or scrolled deep. When the signals line up, it shows the popup one more time.
Two things make this work well:
- It remembers where they left off. If a visitor entered their email, advanced to the SMS step, then closed — the re-engagement resumes at the SMS step rather than restarting.
- It's a single extra attempt. Re-engagement fires at most once per visit, so it never nags.
In our trials, enabling re-engagement lifted lead capture by roughly 10%.
